PetroSA has appointed Group Five as engineering management contractor for the 2013 maintenance shutdown of the Mossel Bay facilities.

CAPE TOWN, South Africa – PetroSA has appointed Group Five as engineering management contractor for the 2013 maintenance shutdown of the Mossel Bay facilities.
Group Five will mainly perform mechanical works during the maintenance period, designed to ensure integrity of equipment and systems.
Operations will be suspended for 37 days beginning Sept. 22. This includes theMossel Bay gas-to-liquids refinery and the offshore F-A platform. South African law requires these facilities to undergo a maintenance shutdown every four years.
