ONE buying EWE’s Dutch North Sea interests

Oranje-Nassau Energie (ONE) has agreed to acquire all Dutch upstream oil and gas interests held by German utility EWE Vertrieb.

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands – Oranje-Nassau Energie (ONE) has agreed to acquire all Dutch upstream oil and gas interests held by German utility EWE Vertrieb.

These comprise various assets operated by ONE, GdF Suez and Wintershall, including the K12-G and L10-M offshore complexes units and North Sea blocks L11a and K09a, b, and c.

ONE expects to complete the transaction later this year. Earlier, the company agreedto acquire Noble Energy’s stake in the producing offshore Hanze oil and gas field. The two deals are estimated to net the company more than 4 MMboe in reserves.
