ABERDEEN, UK – Maersk Oil UK has contracted Bibby Offshore for one-year support work on its North Sea assets, starting Jan. 1, 2014.
TheDSVBibby Sapphire will assist construction and inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) activities on Maersk UK facilities. The contract includes three additional one-year options.
Previously Bibby Offshore delivered IRM services and construction work for Maersk’s Gryphon Area reinstatement program in the northern UK North Sea. This involved installation and tie-ins of flexible and control jumpers, with pre-commissioning and testing to connect theGryphon “A” FPSO.
