Deepwater block offshore Ghana nears government approval

Ghana’s government has ratified a petroleum agreement for the country’s South Deepwater Tano concession.

GIBRALTAR– Ghana’s government has ratified a petroleum agreement for the country’s South Deepwater Tano concession.
Assuming approval from Ghana’s Parliament, AGM Petroleum Ghana, a subsidiary of AGM Gibraltar, will operate the concession in partnership with Ghana National Petroleum Corp. (GNPC) and GNPC Exploration and Production Co.
AGM Gibraltar is jointly owned by deepwater drilling specialist AGR Energy, MED Songhai Developers, and Gibraltar-based Minexco OGG. The latter is in turn owned by WA Natural Resources and Minexco Petroleum, both of which have experience in managing and developing petroleum projects inWest Africa.
