HOUMA, Louisiana – Gulf Island Fabrication (NASDAQ:GIFI) has a letter of intent from Walter Oil and Gas to fabricate topsides for the Coelacanth project at Ewing Bank 834 in the Gulf of Mexico.
The 4,500-ton topsides will accompany the 1,200-ft jacket being built for the project by Gulf Island.
