Offshore staff
LIMASSOL, Cyprus – Idemitsu Oil & Gas has contracted the drilling rig Songa Mercur for one firm well offshore Vietnam, with an option for another.
The firm part of the contract will last 80 days minimum, and generate revenue to Songa Offshore of $21 million. If the option is taken up, the duration could extend to 140 days.
The program will start in direct continuation of therig’s commitment with Eni Vietnam, keeping it occupied into 2014.
