    Apache, TAQA reserve offshore rig for long-term North Sea work

    Awilco Drilling has a letter of intent from Apache North Sea and TAQA Bratani for the use of the semisubmersible WilPhoenix.

    ABERDEEN, UK– Awilco Drilling has a letter of intent from Apache North Sea and TAQA Bratani for the use of the semisubmersible WilPhoenix.

    The contract is for three firm years with a further two years of options. Contract value for the firm term, expected to start in the second half of 2014, is around $424 million.
