STAVANGER, Norway – Statoil has submitted a plan for the development and operation for a new satellite to the Oseberg complex in the Norwegian North Sea.
TheDelta 2 field will be developed with two subsea templates, and its well stream will be piped to the Oseberg field center.
Statoil estimates recoverable reserves at 77 MMboe. Startup is slated for end-2014, with peak production of 18,000 boe/d. The development is estimated to cost $1.26 billion.
