STOCKHOLM, Sweden – PA Resources (PAR) says it continues to discuss farming out of ownership interests in the Zarat license offshore Tunisia.
The partners aim to submit a development plan for the Zarat field by mid-year to the Tunisian authorities. PAR and state-owned ETAP are jointly performing a detailed technical review of reservoir modeling. They are considering various production schemes, including re-injection of gas to allow for production of oil and condensate for a period prior to the start of gas sales.
Late last year interpretation was completed of the latest processed seismic data for the entire Zarat license. A review is under way of a location for a possible appraisal well on the Elyssa field, which would be drilled in late 2013 or early next year, assuming a successful outcome to farm-out negotiations.
