TRONDHEIM, Norway – Det norske oljeselskap has started production from the Jette field in the Norwegian North Sea.
A single well is currently flowing oil, tied back subsea to the ExxonMobil-operatedJotun platform. A second production well is due to come online on May 22.
This is Det norske’s first operated oil field development. The company has a 70% operated interest in Jette, the remainder is held by Petoro.
