Wison, Black & Veatch agree to FLNG cooperation

Wison Offshore & Marine and Black & Veatch will jointly pursue work for barge-based natural gas liquefaction facility projects.

SHANGHAI, China – Wison Offshore & Marine and Black & Veatch will jointly pursue work for barge-based natural gas liquefaction facility projects.

The two parties have signed a memorandum of understanding under which Wison will hold responsibility for barge design and engineering, overall project management, construction, delivery, and financing of the integrated facility.

Black & Veatch will provide the basic and detailed LNG plant designs, certain LNG equipment, commissioning services, and process guarantees, based on its patented PRICO liquefaction technology.

Currently, the companies are collaborating on theirfirst floating LNG liquefaction, storage, and regasification facility, which is under construction at Wison’s fabrication site in Nantong, China.
