    Premier extends contract for Awilco offshore drilling rig

    Premier Oil UK Ltd. has exercised its option to extend the term of its drilling contract with Awilco Drilling.

    ABERDEEN, UK – Premier Oil UK Ltd. has exercised its option to extend the term of its drilling contract with Awilco Drilling.

    This involves retaining the semisubmersibleWilPhoenix for about 70 days from March 2014, at an estimated additional cost of $22 million.
