Offshore Myanmar Padauk seismic data under review

Woodside says a 1,786-sq km (689-sq mi) 3D seismic survey has been completed over block A6 offshore Myanmar.

PERTH, Australia – Woodside says a 1,786-sq km (689-sq mi) 3D seismic survey has been completed over block A6 offshore Myanmar.

Initial fasttrack data from the new Padauk survey is expected to be available before mid-year, with final processed data due out later this year.

The company farmed into the concession in January, and also into the AD-7 block in March.

Greater Enfield Area

Offshore Western Australia, the company continues work on the Laverda development in theGreater Enfield Area and expects to further define its preferred development concept later this year.

The proposed Cimatti-Enfield tieback concept will not be taken forward, with Cimatti now being considered as part of a wider-ranging Greater Enfield program.

Pluto LNG

Elsewhere in the region, front-end engineering and design has started for theXena gas field as part of the Pluto LNG project.
