Offshore staff
ASSALUYEH, Iran – Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Co. (IOEC) has installed the deck of the A17 platform for the South Pars phases 17-18 project offshore Iran.
The 2,320-ton deck will provide equipment to process 14 MMcm/d (494 MMcf/d) of gas. It is supported by a four-leg tripod.
IOEC is close to completing the second platform (A18) deck. The associated 220-km (137-mi), main 32-in. (81-cm) export pipeline is already installed.
Full development of phases 17-18 calls for two main and two satellite platforms and drilling of 44 production wells.
