STAVANGER, Norway – Norwegian Energy Co. (Noreco) announced that production has re-started from the DONG-operated Oselvar field in the Norwegian North Sea.
Operations had to be shut down on Sept. 12 following anincident on the host Ula platform.
In the UK sector, Noreco UK has agreed to sell 11.9% of license P1666 to Total. The acreage includes the currentRomeo exploration well.
Noreco will retain a 10% interest in the license – the transaction includes a part-carry of the company’s drilling costs.
