North Sea GSA drilling pushed back to early 2013

Ithaca Energy has updated progress on its Greater Stella Area development in the UK central North Sea, which encompasses the Stella and Harrier fields.

CALGARY, Canada – Ithaca Energy has updated progress on its Greater Stella Area development in the UK central North Sea, which encompasses the Stella and Harrier fields.

A modifications contract for theFPF-1 floating production unit has been awarded to the Remontowa shipyard in Gdansk, Poland.

TheEnsco 100 is set to start development drilling in 1Q 2013, which is later than expected due to delays in completion of programs for other operators.

Four initial Stella wells will be drilled over a 12-month period prior to arrival of theFPF-1 for hook-up and commissioning, currently set for the first half of 2014.

Detailed design has been completed for the subsea infrastructure, whichTechnip will install next year. Linepipe fabrication is in progress.

Ithaca has concluded various gas transportation and processing agreements for gas processed on theFPF-1 via the Central Area Transmission System pipeline system and the Teesside Gas and Liquids Processing terminal.
