TANANGER, Norway – ConocoPhillips Norge says all deck sections are now in place for the new Ekofisk 2/4 Z platform at Aker Solutions’ yard in Egersund, Norway.
Work on the topsides started on March 9, with full size reached after 223 days. Additionally, a 116-m (380-ft) bridge has been delivered to connect the platform to the rest of the Ekofisk complex in the southern Norwegian North Sea.
Further construction for the project continues at bases in Oslo, Houston, Poland, Spain, and Italy.
