HOUSTON –Hyperdynamics Corp. (NYSE:HDY) has agreed to start exclusive negotiations regarding acquisition of 40% gross interest in a concession offshore Guinea by Tullow Oil plc.

The exclusivity expires Nov. 19, 2012. If completed, the transaction is expected before year end.
