PARIS– BP International Ltd UK has awarded Nexans a 10-year frame agreement.
This covers supply of umbilicals, direct electrical heating (DEH) systems to provide flow assurance in pipelines, accessories and services for various BP oil and gas projects worldwide.
The agreement, which runs until 2022, includes design, manufacture, and supply of bespoke umbilicals carrying fluid, power, control, and telecommunication services for new subsea oil and gas projects.
Nexans has had two umbilical frame agreements with BP Exploration and Production Inc., one awarded in 2003 and the other in 2009 for deepwater umbilical projects in the Gulf of Mexico.
