Offshore staff
TOKYO –Teikoku Oil (North America) Co. Ltd. is the entity buying into Anadarko’s Lucius project in the Gulf of Mexico. Earlier reports of the deal did not identify the purchasing company. Teikoku is a subsidiary of INPEX Corp.
This is not INPEX’s first venture into the Gulf as it has participated in several shallow-water developments. The company says it plans to continue to expand its development and production activities in the GoM.
