STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Lundin Petroleum will abandon the Oudna field in the Gulf of Hammamet, offshore Tunisia.
Followingstorm damage to a flowline in March, production had to be shut in. After assessing the situation, Lundin has been unable to devise an economic repair solution.
Oudna came onstream in 2006. It has been developed via a single producer well and a water injector, designed to maintain reservoir pressure, with a crude oil-powered jet pump providing artificial lift.
Both wells are tied back to theIkdam FPSO, owned by Ikdam Production.
