Murphy Sabah Oil has contracted Aker Solutions for a subsea production system for the Siakap North - Petai deepwater development offshore Sabah, Malaysia.

OSLO, Norway– Murphy Sabah Oil has contracted Aker Solutions for a subsea production system for the Siakap North - Petai deepwater development offshore Sabah, Malaysia. The contract value was undisclosed.
The scope of work includes 13 subsea trees, eight manifolds, well jumpers, engineering for topside controls and lifecycle support services. The first hardware delivery is scheduled for 1Q 2013.
The contract will be delivered out of Aker Solutions’ subsea manufacturing center in Port Klang, Malaysia. Siakap North - Petai is in a water depth of 1,400 m (4,593 ft). The subsea production system will be tied back toMurphy's Kikeh FPSO.
