PGS orders new version Ramform seismic vessels from Mitsubishi

Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (OSLO: PGS) has signed for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. to deliver two Ramform vessels in 2013 with an option for as many as two more for delivery in 2015.

OSLO, Norway –Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (OSLO: PGS) has signed for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. to deliver two Ramform vessels in 2013 with an option for as many as two more for delivery in 2015.

These new fifth-generation seismic vessels are called “Titan” class. They are designed to use and benefit from GeoStreamer technology.
