Offshore staff
HAMBURG, Germany – RWE Dea has agreed to acquire 10% of Wintershall’s equity in a production license offshore Norway. PL418 is in the northern Norwegian North Sea.
RWE Dea operates the adjacent PL420 concession, which includes the 2010Titan discovery. The company is also a partner in the Gjøa field nearby to the northeast.
A well (35/9-7) is planned on PL418 targeting hydrocarbons in the Skarfjell prospect.
The farm-in agreement is subject to approval from the Norwegian authorities.
