Lundin Petroleum has agreed to acquire an additional 30% from Talisman Energy in Norwegian North Sea license PL148 containing the Brynhild field.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Lundin Petroleum has agreed to acquire an additional 30% from Talisman Energy in Norwegian North Sea license PL148 containing the Brynhild field.
Assuming approval from the Norwegian authorities, Lundin will then hold a 100% interest in the concession.
In November the government approved theBrynhild development plan. The field should produce first oil in late 2013, building to 12,000 b/d at peak.
