HOUSTON – Statoil has contracted FMC Technologies to supply subsea production equipment to support the Fram H-Nord development in the Norwegian North Sea.
FMC’s scope, under the $70-million contract, includes provision of one subsea production tree, one manifold and one multiphase meter; an integrated template structure and one umbilical; two wellheads; and associated controls and equipment.
Fram H-Nord field is in a water depth of 1,200 ft (360 m). The equipment will be based on FMC’sstandard fasttrack subsea solution purpose-designed for Statoil, with deliveries phased through 2013.
