LONDON – EnQuest says the Deveron DEV-P1 production well has been completed and will start up shortly from the Thistle platform in the UK northern North Sea.

The Area 6-P1 (ESP) production well should come onstream this fall.

Elsewhere in the UK sector, EnQuest plans to drill two wells at Don Southwest. One will be a replacement for S1, in an updip location, while a new well will be drilled to the highest point of the horst updip of the successful S5 well.

On West Don, the W2 well will be side tracked this summer and a new water injector, well W5, will be drilled this fall.

Following the completion of the rig reactivation program on the Heather platform, drilling will start late this year.

Development drilling started in January on EnQuest’sAlma/Galia project. The Uisge Gorm (renamed the EnQuest Producer) has been transferred to Hamburg for modification and life extension works.
