STOCKHOLM, Sweden – Production from the Noble Energy-operated Aseng field off Equatorial Guinea has reached its plateau level of 60,000 b/d, according to partner PA Resources (PAR).
Off Republic of Congo, the company also participates in the Murphy-operated Azurite field. Here there was a marked decline during February in the flow rate from one well, causing overall field production to drop by around 2,000 b/d.
The well has acomplicated dual zone completion that has not performed as designed. PAR says Murphy is attempting to lift the well’s output, and to diagnose the cause of the problem and determine remedial action.
