LONDON– PGS has completed a 3D seismic acquisition program for Chariot Oil & Gas offshore Namibia.
The vessel acquired 3,500 sq km (1,351 sq mi) of data across Central blocks 2312 A & B and 2412 A & B (northern halves), using GeoStreamer technology.
The survey targeted an area in the northeast of the license containing 11 leads with prospective total resources of 3.972 Bbbl of oil. Despite difficult weather conditions, data quality was very high, Chariot says.
Processing and interpretation of the data collected is under way.
