Providence confirms exploration rights offshore Dublin

Providence Resources has been awarded Standard Exploration License 2/11 in the Kish Bank basin offshore Dublin, eastern Ireland.

DUBLIN, Ireland – Providence Resources has been awarded Standard Exploration License 2/11 in the Kish Bank basin offshore Dublin, eastern Ireland.
The license, issued by the Irish Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources, runs for up to six years, comprising two three-year phases.
The concession area contains the Dalkey Island exploration prospect. Providence and its partner Star Energy have committed to drill at least one well during the first phase.
Recently they started the application process for a foreshore license over the area in order to perform well site survey and drilling operations.
