ABERDEEN, UK – AMEC has contracted General Dynamics UK’s Page Europa subsidiary to deliver an integrated telecommunications project for BP’s new Clair Ridge platform west of Shetland.
Page Europa will deliver a turn-key program covering systems design, engineering and project management through procurement of all equipment and services, integration and final testing of the integrated system prior to handover to BP.
The fully tested system should be delivered to the platform construction site by October 2012. The system has been designed for the 40-year life of the project.
Last year Page Europa’s delivered a security and telecommunications project for the new ConocoPhillips Jasmine platforms in the central UK North Sea.
