ZUG, Switzerland – Foster Wheeler subsidiary Global Engineering and Construction (E&C) Group and joint venture partner Qatar Kentz have signed an engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCm) framework agreement with Qatargas.
The three-year agreement, with an optional two-year extension, covers projects associated with the existing Qatargas LNG facility at Ras Laffan Industrial City, and will take in offshore and onshore work.
Qatargas intends to issue invitations to its framework contractors to bid for specific work packages that may include pre-FEED, FEED, and EPCm services.
