OSLO, Norway – Dolphin Group ASA has agreed with Sanco Shipping on a five-year charter on the Sanco Swift 16-streamer seismic vessel under construction at Kleven Maritime.
With the vessel due for delivery in June 2013, Dolphin says it will acquire a streamer package to install.
Dolphin also plans to exercise an option to charter the Polar Duchess from Rieber Shipping starting in April 2012.
According to Dolphin, it expects a strong market in 4Q 2011 going in to 2012, and says it has a strong demand for its multi-client project off West Africa.
