SUGAR LAND, Texas – The Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America is seeking proposals for funding of two types of programs – specific technical areas of interest to fill identified technical gaps and also next phase technical areas of interest based on projects from the 2007 and 2008 program.

Permeating all categories is a focus on improving environmental performance, reducing environmental risk, and enhancing safety with well over 50% of the recommended work directly addressing these issues.

The focus of the 2010 UDW RFPs on risk reduction is an appropriate emphasis on technologies supporting Safety and Environmental Sustainability (S&ES). Between 50 and 64 %of the FY 2010 funds target support of projects focusing on risk reduction.

For details on the proposal forms and deadlines, as well as additional discussion about proposal areas of interest, see http://rpsea.org.
