HOUSTON – Wild Well Control, a division of Superior Energy Services, says it has developed a new package to assist clients with permitting and emergency response. The Total Deepwater Solution package will assist clients with the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement (BOEMRE) requirements in terms of well permitting and emergency response to a deepwater well control event.

For well permitting support, the company says that the new package includes emergency response planning, relief well planning, well kill design and technical review assistance.

The package also includes dedicated BOP capping assemblies — 18 ¾-in. 15M 3-Ram and 13 5/8-in. 15M 3-Ram, subsea dispersant injection system, specially designed debris removal equipment and other response equipment as required. Wild Well Control says it intends to further develop the Total Deepwater Solution package to serve not only the Gulf of Mexico but international markets as well.
