IKM Subsea AS has contracted to lease two Merlin WR200 ROVs for one year with a one–year option.

SOLA, Norway – IKM Subsea AS has contracted to lease two Merlin WR200 ROVs for one year with a one–year option. IKM also will supply personnel, engineering, and operations support for the ROVs. Over two years, the contract is valued at NOK100 million ($17 million).
Ben Pollard, business director IKM Subsea, said the company plans to build six full ROV spreads a year to become a big player in the field. Toward that end, IKM acquired Technique AS, an ROV tooling company.
