ABERDEEN, UK -- BP and Talisman Energy have awarded contracts to ASCO Norway to provide integrated logistics services on the Norwegian shelf. The combined value is estimated at $65 million over five years. There are options for three-year extensions.

ASCO also will supply personnel, offshore containers, transport and forwarding services, and waste management. The contracts will secure 50-60 jobs.

The company operates five supply bases along the Norwegian coast in Farsund, Tananger, Kristiansund, Sandnessjøen, and Mongstadbase in Bergen.

Last year, ASCO Norway won a contract to support BP’s Skarv development in the Norwegian Sea from its supply base in Sandnessjøen.
