J. Ray McDermott secures more work under Saudi Aramco agreement

Saudi Aramco has awarded J. Ray McDermott additional work under a Long-Term Agreement (LTA).

HOUSTON -- Saudi Aramco has awarded J. Ray McDermott additional work under a Long-Term Agreement (LTA).
The latest project, which is expected to continue through 2010, consists of the procurement, fabrication, and installation of three decks, jackets, associated pipelines, and the installation of three new shallow water crude oil pipelines, totaling 15 km (9.3 mi), in the South Safaniya oil field, offshore Saudi Arabia. The pipelines will divert crude oil production flow from three existing platforms to other facilities before reaching the Safaniya onshore gas oil separator plant.
Other recently awarded Saudi Aramco work under the LTA includes the procurement, fabrication and installation of a jacket and deck for the Berri field and a four-pile jacket in the Karan field, offshore Saudi Arabia.
