DOHA, Qatar -- Shell has commissioned its applied research laboratory at the Qatar Science and Technology, according to a local news source. The new laboratory will allow for an expansion of research work at the Qatar Shell Research & Technology Center, according to Shell officials.
The company has committed to spend up to $100 million over a 10-year period on the technology and development program.
