The Armada Perkasa FPSO has left Singapore and is scheduled to arrive at Okoro Setu offshore Nigeria in February 2008.

LONDON –The Armada Perkasa FPSO has left Singapore and is scheduled to arrive at Okoro Setu offshore Nigeria in February 2008.

The 221-m (725-ft), 33,081-ton vessel was refurbished by Keppel Shipyard to serve as an FPSO with storage capacity of 360,000 bbl or oil and total liquids processing capacity of 27,000 b/d.

"We are pleased to have accomplished another key milestone towards first production from the Okoro Setu project and remain on track to achieve first oil in the first quarter of 2008 and production of 15,000 - 20,000 barrels per day in mid 2008," said Osman Shahenshah, Afren Plc. CEO, at the sail-away ceremony on Tuesday.

Afren and Amni International Petroleum Corp. are partners in the Nigeria operation. Bumi Armada Berhand owns and operates the FPSO.
