CARLYSS, Louisiana --Petrobras has signed a letter of intent with Global Industries Offshore Llc. to install the 24-in (61 cm) Camarupim gas pipeline from Espirito Santo basin offshore Brazil.
The $165-million project includes project planning, detailed engineering, and installation of 52 km (32 mi) of pipeline plus fabrication and installation of the pipeline end manifold and tie-in spool. Global'sIroquois pipelay barge will perform the installation.
