STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- Lundin Petroleum AB and Atlantis Holding Norway AS have exceeded 20,000 b/d oil production from the Oudna field offshore Tunisia following commissioning of water injection and artificial lift facilities.

"The increased production from the Oudna field has ensured that we have achieved our forecast 2006 year end production of 40,000 b/d of oil," says Ashley Heppenstall, president and CEO of Lundin Petroleum.

Lundin Petroleum and Atlantis each hold 50% interest in the field, with Lundin Petroleum as operator. Tunisian state oil company ETAP has a 20% purchase option that can be exercised up to 120 days from the commencement of first oil production, which took place in Nov. 2006.
